Recognising the significant health benefits of real Wasabi, long understood by the Japanese but new to New Zealanders and the global market, the Trust sought to develop a product and brand that could seamlessly blend innovation with natural health associations.

4AM was enlisted to spearhead the development of a name, brand identity, and product launch for Memsabi. One of the pivotal and newly discovered health benefits centred around cognitive function and recall - its ability to enhance memory was a key focus.

The name, logo, packaging, and e-commerce website were meticulously crafted as part of the Memsabi launch project. Incorporating a simple circular red device within a contemporary design environment maintained a nod to ancient Japanese wisdom while ensuring it was contextualised by innovation.
